A wonderfully rare and beautiful 1930's Evans compact purse with a mother of pearl lid and wristlet chain for carrying.  It's in excellent condition, with no damage.

The purse opens to a powder and rouge compact inside the lid.  The lidded powder compartment is for loose powder, and is clean and empty.  It comes with the original powder puff that's a bit worn.  Behind the double sided metal mirror is a rouge compartment, with the original rouge puff and rouge.  All the compartment lids work perfectly, and seal shut tightly.  The interior of the purse has a clean satin lining. 

The mother of pearl lid and gold mesh body of the purse are also in wonderful condition.  It's a great little bag to display or to use for special occasions.
