It was patented on Nov 27th of 1911. It has some discoloration to the nickel silver and the interior liner pouches. It's still is a very usable piece. It would be great for holding cash, change, credit and business cards.
It measures approximately 4 1/8th inches across by 3 1/4 inches high, and the chain has a 8 inch drop from the top of the purse. Both sides of the purse have the same linear design that was so popular in the early 1900's. The interior has a snap closure coin section, and a pocket behind it, as well as a pocket on the other side.
